I created InVideo files for 70+ topics for the My Health eBaby Book in collaboration with Case Western University. Each topic, or "LEARN It! Challenge" required the use of Jarvis, a text automation tool. The text produced was then used to create an educational video about pregnancy targeted towards mothers living in low socioeconomic regions of Ohio.
I created a cross word puzzle and word search utilizing WordPress for 14 corresponding medical specialties. Canva was then employed to develop a featured image for each of the associated specialties. The interactive games were published to the Force for Health Network.
Overweight Breakthrough was a team project conducted in the HPS 350 Principles of Health Education and Promotion course. The team was assigned the task of identifying a health need for Mexican-American youth ages 5-10 living in Pima County. A program was then developed to address the need. I designed the presentation, wrote the program goals, objectives, methods, and learning activity.
In the course HPS 350 Principles of Health Education and Promotion, I was assigned the group project of developing a program plan for a target population. The program was based on Mexican-American youth living in Pima County and their risk of obesity. For a team program plan report entitled, "Overweight Breakthrough", I aided in writing the introduction, literature review, program description, program timeline, and sample evaluation tool.
